I just sold the next smaller version (Champion Power Equipment 200953 4250-Watt Open Frame Inverter) because it was as loud as a lawn mower. We tried using it with a 100 feet power cable to place it far away from our RV, but it was still WAY TOO LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS.
Any deals on any of the reputable enclosed quiet inverter generators?

I received mine yesterday well packed and in perfect condition. Be sure to remove the yellow shipping brackets at the engine vibration isolators. The feet, handle and wheels mount quickly with 8, 10, 13 mm sockets and wrenches. Fill with 10w30 conventional oil not supplied. Capacity is 1.1 quarts. A permanently attached drain tube allows the oil to be changed easily without any tools. I like to do the first change right after warm up to remove any assembly grit which may be present.
