Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Just for fun i decided to try to get the lowest iphone 12 64gb the price of that is 830. It should mean i get the phone for free when i trade in the A715G . Maybe js pay like 60 bucks tax but its asking me to pay and extra 155 on that 6.46*24

Just wondering if you can get the promotion online. If so, do I send in the trade-in phone after receiving iPhone 12? Maybe I'll go to a store tomorrow but I haven't had good luck with local T-mobile stores.

You can upgrade through tmobile app which was what I did. Once new phone ships, you have 30 days to send in the trade in phone. I already received the mail in label.

Thanks, OP! Also thanks to the others that mentioned picking up an 8 for $200 at micro center. Tried going to Costco but they said I'd have to go to a retail store. Oh well. Went to the store on the way home but they didn't have any in white so had to have it shipped.

Went to Costco but they are out of the phone I wanted (even for ordering and shipping). Ended up doing chat with tmobile and had them match Costco.

Question: I have six lines on Essential plan single account. I plan to split it into two separate accounts. Is it better to sign up for this promo first and then split with keeping this promo on the main account (planning to sign my mom and myself to 55+)? Or is it safer to split first with 2 lines under 55+ plan and then jump into this promo?
