I used to overclock, a long long time ago. Then I realized I was wasting hours and hours everyday adjusting settings, benchmarking and stability testing for small gains. What a massive waste of time.

Not many are so fortunate as they continue to "waste" their lives with frivolous things/activities (anything that doesn't add any long-term values to themselves and others/universe)
Pillars to hide, tools they think would make them better "artists". Acceptance from their peers for following the trends. Small talks. Social status. And many many more.
Puff puff pass on whatever you're smoking

If I'm not mistaken, jedec speeds for zen 3 is 3200mhz, 3600mhz is ideal for 1:1 ratios and anything above is just a gem. I currently have my ram oc'd to 3800 with the fclk and uclk at 1900.

Overclocking used to be a lot more beneficial. Intel especially left a lot of performance on the table, I had my 3770k over clocked to 4.6Ghz stable for the eight plus years I owned it. Now both manufacturers better handle boosting/turbo, so your gains are far less significant.
