1. They can connect with up to 3 devices (not simultaneously of course, that'd be absurd)
2. Even with intense gaming sessions using RF dongle (no, not a competitive gamer), I have yet to see any lag
3. Keyboard backlighting is very strong but I usually just keep it off as it does consume battery
4. Battery life on both is great otherwise - and they use USB-C so that's awesome
5. They both can be connected with just one USB dongle to your primary machine - I recommend gaming desktop, and the rest of the connections are purely bluetooth but even they are low latency bluetooth so it's great
6. Comfort is incredible. The keyboard is heavy but it's form factor requires it to be heavy so it stays extremely stable on the desk. Does not slip. They're built like a tank. And the keyboard has both PC and Mac buttons. The software provides a ton of options to customize buttons and backlighting.
Overall, I don't think I have found a $100 keyboard and $100 mouse that integrate so well across all the three computers I use them with. Just an incredible value provided by Logitech.
For most people, that use the mouse to point and select or drag and drop, etc, spending more time on the keyboard than the mouse, the $35 M720 paired with the MX Keys keyboard would offer the full benefits of the multi-device with logic flow functionality.

1) USB-C and use when charging.
2) 4000 dpi vs. 1000 dpi (something you said in your comment above) but remember that 720 is not a darkfield mouse (cannot use it on all surfaces) like MX is, and for some, that's important on-the-go.
3) I just found MX mouse a bit more comfortable for my hands - 720 felt a bit smaller but that's a preference thing
4)Thumbwheel - long excel spreadsheet scrolling is a breeze!
I'm currently using M720. I'm having lacking issue on both PC. I want to upgrade to MX3 but I cannot use flow. Anyway around that?

1. Use Logitech flow, have it setup so that when you reach the edge of one computer, it shows up on the next computer.
2. Use Logitech flow, have it setup so that when you reach the edge of one computer AND press Control, it shows up on the next computer
3. Manually flip the mouse over and click the button to have it switch between computers 1, 2, & 3.

Maybe I misunderstand the tech, but I had understood that Logitech already has the functionality you refer to in point #1 in place?

Does this not actually work?
But my gripe with SD cashback is that to use it you have to identify yourself and install a browser plugin and agree to their T&C which states that the plug in can collect your usage information browsing any other site (unrelated to SD) from the same browser.
