The app didn't do anything unusual but it does require location services enabled when you first join it which is strange.

Reminds me of when we went to set up a Roomba for my dad, and he got hung up when the app asked for permissions. My dad was like I'm not giving this app permission to access my phone, what if it does something with it? My sister and I were like what is going on right now, does my dad not know how apps work? He literally could not get past that it wants access to his microphone or whatever.
I feel like some people need to either accept how stuff works, or go off the grid and be consistent about it. I.e., I guarantee there are at least 10 things you are using that are far worse. Like all the Google services and Facebook.
