I currently have the RP-500M. I have a Denon PMA-600NE powering them (using a Topping E30 DAC as well for the USB audio since the Denon is lacking that). Would these suffice as a replacement? I just got the RP-500M a week ago and am not thrilled with the the Denon. I have always been into headphones (too much, to be honest) and am trying to get out of that side of the hobby for the most part.
I got these yesterday and hooked them up. I honestly expected some Bass but it was a joke. The horn tweeters are extremely directional and a little harsh to my ears. However a $200 subwoofer and a little EQ on the high end made these rock out pretty well. I'm just using them in the bedroom so directional its fine too.
If they had a 8" integrated subwoofer on the bottom they'd be pretty awesome.
These arrived yesterday, using them in a small dance studio and the sound really fills the room. Soo clear and crisp and blows everyone away when they hear it. Played everything from hip hop to latin music to 80's ballads and nothing but smiles in the room.
Didn't even bother hooking up the sub and will take it home (maybe connect it to my Klipsch Cinema 600 sound bar and Oled TV). The bluetooth easily connected to Apple and Android devices. Couldn't be happier, perfect for the non audiophile who wants good clean non-distorted room filling sound in an elegant enclosure.
I have them hooked up to a 2011 iMac via Bluetooth and the TV via Optical (was going to use them with optical on the iMac, but after Loki's season is done). They work great with the OLD Bluetooth. Great for music but the bass is lacking for action movies. Ordering the 10 inch that is on sale for $140. Happy camper for a crazy easy setup. Now need a TV remote that will control the volume .

Have a Klipsch soundbar with a woofer..front panel of the soundbar came off after few days..did not bother to get it fixed..Lost my remote once and customer care helped me out easily..Just wanted to ut out my experience so far
OH wow, its ANOTHER deal on Adorama for Klipish. Wow, the one everyday all year for the last 2 years weren't the deal for me but this one sure is. I am so glad that Klipish on Adorama is on the front page everyday. It helps me remember they exist. It's completely organic that they are on the homepage too.
You heard it here folks. This guy doesn't care who you are or who is using this. No matter if you want something simple for simplicity's sake or have a significant other than doesn't want to learn how to turn on an Amp and DAC, in additional to their TV - If you don't go Reference Premier then you deserve nothing in life, but silence.
Hmmm.... I wonder if these would work in an outdoor theater setup?
I mean yeah... as much as plugging any amplifier up with speakers, but they aren't weather sealed in the slightest and weight about 10 times that of a large Bluetooth speaker, each. So I wouldn't bother, but you may want the exercise.

Apparently when playing through AUX the speakers shutoff after 10 min.
Bluetooth sound quality is spotty.
Also, difficult adding any other speakers such as a center speaker for a 5.1 setup etc. Volume resets each time they turn on/off

What EQ are you using?
