If the deal comes with Slickdeals Rewards (Cashback), it's usually a bad deal.

This laptop is supposedly better than the recent Dell G15 10870h deal. It has a much better display (165Hz, 100% sRGB), higher powered 3060 (115w compared to 90W) and a more efficient processor.

If you got the Amex offer, then this costs about the same as that deal. Worth noting though, I was not able to apply any other coupons on top of it. Confirmed with the CS as well, no other discounts possible.

Got this for my son, to replace his aging Omen laptop. So far so good, but he's not happy with the colors: screen is very bright and he feels like some of the colors are washed out. Any tips on how to solve this?

Seems like the intel version is better than the Ryzen version, considering the USB 3.2 ports and the wifi card. I hear the Killer cards are junk cause of the software. But hey the higher watt 115 vs 90 3060 and a better screen might be worth it.

If you haven't already, install GeForce Experience and install drivers for the gpu there. Then use SupportAssist and check for any drivers you haven't installed.

Why are you using a radeon display driver? Its an nvidia card, also i think i seen it mention that you have to down the new video driver from nvidia manually cause the geforce experience doesnt see it
