I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

5/24 stands for 5 new credit card accounts within 24 months. It's a Chase exclusive rule that prevents you from being approved for any Chase card if you have opened 5 or more new cards in 24 months.
Just to add: Business cards do not count against 5/24, only personal accounts.
I remember i had a sapphire (non preferred) which I closed a while back, but not sure its been more than 24 months back.
how can i confirm on that?
EDIT
Checked on CreditKarma and it looks like I may have closed it in Sept 2020
would that disqualify me from collecting the bonus if I get approved for the card?
24 months is not a period of time that has any significance, for any reason, when applying for a Sapphire card.

I have the sapphire reserve for the last 3 years. Will I be able to downgrade it to avoid the $450 annual fee
Ok, so I did apply online, got "30 days decision by mail" response. Called 1800 number and received same "30 days" automatic response. There is no way to get to representative as it asking for 16 digits sapphire account number which I do not have obviously. Credit score 748
slightly off topic ...
i still have the CSR when it was first introduced. my wife just canceled her CSP a few months back. we both have the orig freedom, ink cash & unlimited cards. both of us had the ink preferred within the last 2 years..
any other chase CC we can apply for to get UR points?

I got CSP last week for 80K bonus . Just called to see if they would up my bonus to 100K. Frist rep said nope. Called again and asked for a manager. After some back and forth she said "let me see what I can do" and then 5 minutes later "you are good to go." I hope she didn't say that to just get rid of me. YMMV.
I was wondering if I could do the same since I got mine a few weeks ago and spent like 6k on it already... guess I'll give them a call and try my luck
I received bonus points 04/2017 from csr, downgraded to freedom one year later. But in my account, even though csp with 100k is visiable, but no link clickable.
If you can't navigate to the 100K offer from your account, simply use the link in the OP.
