I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

So what exactly are y'all saying at the bank to get the added goodies? I swung by my local Chase today and the front line teller dumdums told me to go apply online...
Go back and slip him a c-note. Works every time.
You are the dum dum asking a front line teller. Make an appointment online. Bankers hate, I mean hate, people that just walk in and expect immediate service. Value their time and they'll value yours.
I want to apply for CSP to get the 100k bonus, but I have a bunch of points that I plan to use at the end of year for travel. To use the points at 1.5x, I need CSR. I understand I cannot "upgrade" CSP to CSR until after one year. I am thinking to have my wife applying CSR, and I can transfer my points to her account to use them at 1.5x. The issue is, she received a CSP bonus 2 years ago (account is closed now), so it has not been 48 months. Will she be able to apply CSR without the sign-up bonus? Or she must meet the sign-up bonus 48 month requirement before she will get approved for CSR?
Your detailed answers are very helpful. Thanks a lot!
He already has a regular Freedom card and was thinking about getting a new Freedom card with $200 bonus. So if he convert his no-fee Sapphire to one of the new Freedom cards, he won't be able to get the $200 bonus, right?
If that is the case, another option we have is to wait until next time a similar offer comes up to apply for a new CSP for him (at the risk that a similar offer may never show up again).
he can convert to another regular Freedom (not Unlimited, not Flex). more than 1 Freedom is allowed when it's through product change (conversion from sapphire), and the old freedom is available for pc, but not new signups. this way he'll remain eligible for $200 signup bonus on each of the Freedom Unlimited and Freedom Flex cards.
I made an appointment and went to a branch today with my wife, I told the banker my wife is referring me so she can get the 20K, but the banker told me that only works online and if I open it in the branch they would give me only 80K points.
Did anyone got referral points in branch with the perks? or the referral only works online?

I was told that you cannot use a referral link in the branch. You either opt in for the branch offer or get referred online.
I have the regular Sapphireā¦is it safe to assume I'm not eligible for this offer?
No need to assume.
Offer Details:
The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months.ā
That being said, this discussion thread is full of people who chose to downgrade their Sapphire to a Freedom or a Slate, waited a few days, then applied for a new Sapphire Preferred card.
EDIT: I just noticed that you already received a similar response from Tazmania99. Sorry for missing that.
I think this method takes advantage of the first approved card not yet flagged in Chase system, so one can slip in the 2nd card application. However, there are 2 hurdles for me. I have so many credit cards that the total credit line is way beyond half of my income. 2nd, I got to find a way to spend $8k in 3 months. Thank you for the info, and I will study this a bit more.
Can someone tell me how many days it would take to receive the card after approval?
I applied in a branch on 7/6 and the banker told me Chase could expedite the card delivery without additional charge. I agreed and received the card through UPS on 7/8.

I had applied in the bank. Here are the updates:
Spent 4K.
Got $50 grocery credit.
Got 100,000 points despite the tracker in the app saying 80,000 points.
Got the first month fee waived off.

How to get the grocery credit? Is there anything we have to ask to chase about or it will be automatically applied.
I have CSR applied 4 years ago, received bonus more than 48 months.
I am wondering whether convert my CSR to chase freedom, wait for ~10 days and then apply for CSP.
Reason of keeping CSR are:
1, I can still get anther $300 travel reinbursement before next annual fee which would be next January;
2, points will worth 50% more with CSR.
3, This offer will end at the time when I am able to apply
Is that possible to convert my CSR back if this offer expires by the time when I can apply CSP?
Thanks!

The system only show Freedom cards available for me.
I came home and apply online, it took two mins, all done and approved. Chase really wants my $95.00
