I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

I applied through a friend's referral. At the end, it states that my application will be reviewed. Did everyone get theirs approved instantly?

Tricky situation here, does anyone know if this will work?

My parter is a secondary one my old Chase Sapphire Preferred card, which has now been downgraded to the no-free Chase Sapphire card. So she is still secondary on the no-fee Chase Sapphire card.

Can she apply to this card as a primary and get the sign-up bonus?

I was AU on my wife's CSP. I removed myself and applied for CSP in branch. banker said I qualify and it is showing 80k progress bar in the app.

ETA, clarity, in branch it is 80k+20k.

I was an AU on my spouse's CSP and I applied for the new one without removing myself as an AU and still got the new card.

Are you required to remove yourself?

Think it might be too late to do that for the 17th deadline

Not needed. I am still an AU on my spouse's CSP and I received the new one without an issue.

Also, read a previous post stating that they are extending in branch offer post July 18th with 100k bonus and waived fee (but no grocery credit)

Question: I haven't had a Saphire Preferred card in 5 years.

The local branch couldn't push the app thru. She said you shouldn't have had the product in the last 4 years or ever had the Preferred card? Wat?! That doesn't make any sense.

You should be able to be eligible after 4 years to refresh eligibility, correct?...

If you do not own a Chase Sapphire (any) card currently and it has been 48 months since you last received the bonus you should be eligible

So chase branch escalation called me that day while I was working, called them back this morning and at first she was asking for like a coupon code or email so she could apply the promotion. I explained that it was the banker who told me about the promotion and filed the complaint so they transferred me over to credit card services where they told me that I had a note on my account to waive the annual fee and give the grocery credit! I don't see the annual fee on my online account. For those who applied online and didn't get the annual fee waived how soon did you see it hit?
Chase bills the annual fee on the first of the month following account opening. For you, that would be August 1st.

I applied this card via a referral link (not instant approval) then accepted a pre-approval in my online account. Now I have two new cards in my online account. Any chance I can spend $4000 on each card and get 200K points?
