I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

The posting shows June. I got my card back in July. I had to call customer service twice, very friendly from my experience. In one incident, my call got dropped due to a poor cellphone signal, and the customer service representative called me right back right away to resolve my issues.
Good for you! I was once on the line for 3h and 37 min (see link from my Twitter account below). Oh and another time, a rep from India talked to me for 10 sec and the call magically dropped, no call back. https://twitter.com/MicrocapMaest...71180?s=20
What is the source of your statement regarding not receiving a bonus for csr within 4 yrs? Seems like a lot of people have qualified in this thread
His source is probably the offer terms on Chase.com:

100,000 Bonus Points After You Spend $4,000 On Purchases In The First 3 Months From Account Opening: The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products. To qualify and receive your bonus, you must make Purchases totaling $4,000 or more during the first 3 months from account opening. ("Purchases" do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.) After qualifying, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for bonus points to post to your account. To be eligible for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment.
Ive been coming across comments of people downgrading from csr to freedom and then applying and qualifying for the csp bonus
It's 4 years since you got the bonus, not since owning the card. I got my CSR bonus in early 2017 so I am eligible for this bonus, provided I downgrade my Reserve first.

Thanks! Just checked and got mine in jan 2017. Will cancel and reapply
I applied and got approved and got my bonus after a week.. lol... However when i applied i got a 2nd card for my fiance so she could always use it in an emergency (didn't use her SS but it showed up on her report). We are now planning our wedding for June and i already know I'm going to be paying for a lot of random odds and ends. Could it be possible she can apply for this card under her SS# and get the bonus? or am i SOL since i added her onto my account at 1 point?

Yeah, totally worth it especially if you get AF waived or ref bonus. I was about to be charged $550 in two weeks by CSR - granted $300 back , but dont use Peloton and have Priority Pass through other card - though no restaurants. May go back to CSR but at least getting the 100k points and a break from the fee is nice! Probably should rack up the points and then use them when I have CSR again to get 1.5

DO NOT CANCEL!
You'll have to wait 30 days for the Reserve card to be dropped from Chase's system.
Do a product change (downgrade) instead. It'll take 1-2 weeks to clear, if you're applying in branch to get the annual fee waived. It'll take about half that time when applying online.

Damn... But i already have a freedom. Do you suggest downgrading and then cancelling the downgraded product after applying?
You are allowed to have more than one Freedom card at a time. Just do not cancel you CSR for this deal as the account closure will take as many as 30 days to drop off from Chase system. Here are some tips on the below post before you proceed.

Is the posting date of the CSR AF the same as your anniversary date? I'm wondering if it is worth it to try and get a credit of the AF. I've already downgraded and did not think of that though I do not have much time left in the year anyway, it would probably only be like $25-$30
Annual fee is posted on the first calendar day of the following month after your account is opened, and then every 12 months thereafter.

You can't have any Sapphire card open currently (CS/CSP/CSR) + must be 48mo since any Sapphire bonus payout + must be under 5/24 (google "chase 5/24")

Also, who in this thread do you think has gotten this despite not being eligible under the 48 month rule??
