I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Are your recent hard inquiries due to mortgage shopping? If not, it's pretty much like the final nail in the coffin. Call Recon 800-270-2127 and try to negotiate with them.

I got denied online as there were too many recent inquires.
My credit score is about 730, any ideas what I can do to get this card?
About to sign up, but just found out that Chase has 48 months sign up bonus for Chase Sapphire. I got 1 , 2 yeah ago then Change Product after first years. I have to wait for another 2 year?
I've been having trouble using the referral link, so I contacted Chase via Secure Messaging.

Why is it that I cannot use the Refer A Friend to make a referral from my Chase Sapphire Preferred card ending in XXXX. I enter my name, zip code and XXXX on the appropriate webpage (https://www.chase.com/referafrien...epreferred). But I get the following error message: "We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time."
I have tried making a referral at least six different times over the course of the last three weeks, every time I get the same error message.
HOW DO I MAKE A REFERRAL?
This was Chase's response today:

During this period of time, there were at least six reports of SD members who successfully used the referral link. And at least one other SD member encountered the same problem. (However, his situation wasn't exactly the same as mine. He had just recently had his card approved).
I'm not sure what to make of my inability to use the referral link. I believe that Chase isn't being completely forthright in their explanation of why the referral link doesn't work for me.
This report is being provided as a point of interest. As always, YMMV.

I am not sure what causes your inability to use the referral link. I logged in my Chase account to see if your case is user specific or the system was basically down for everyone. But I had no problem with generating a referral link for CSP. I found that reps via Secured Message are pretty incompetent as their replies somehow were not directly to answer my questions.

I tried clearing cookies, turning off ad-blocker, using different web browsers, and using a different PC with a different IP address ... same result: "We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time."
Entering my wife's card number works. So, it seems like whatever is going wrong has to do with my specific account.
I opened my original Preferred card in July of 2017. I converted it to a Freedom card in July 2018.
I tried to apply online and got the "Unfortunately, we are unable to approve your application".
I'll stop by my branch tomorrow morning to see if I have better luck. My golf membership renewal is due at the end of this month and I wanted to use the card for that. I can pay in October if I pay a $50 late fee.
My golf membership is the only opportunity I have to make this spend requirement until next September so if I can't get the card approved soon, I won't want it at all.

It's possible you opted out if promos or junk mail
My wife is thinking about applying. I already hit my spending threshold after applying a few months ago. What's the most adventageous way of getting her the most benefits? No, I'm not going to read thru 4.5k comments to find it myself...

Like... What kind of transactions do you have pending? You have not charged it to the card yet?
I made purchases through my carrier this weekend, the transactions are in pending status and haven't posted yet. I called up Chase and they told me they can't do anything right now but to call them back if the transactions don't post by tomorrow so they may be able to still apply the signup bonus.
It's possible she didn't opt out after she signed up for csp?
No, I checked her profile before making my last post.
Besides, why would opting out have anything to do with signing up for the referral bonus? I signed up for the 100K sign up bonus with the same settings. I'm being blocked for some other reason.
Had you ever been able to make referral prior to that? Or it's been like that since you first tried to create a referral link? And are you sure the billing zip code of your CSP was correctly entered for the referral link? I used to have a second home as a billing address for some other credit cards and I sometimes messed up myself. The last possibility is your CSP account is miscoded and not reflected as CSP on Chases's end.

I opted out of the marketing emails, but then so did my wife. The referral link works for her, so I don't think that is the issue.
