I mentioned the offer to my wife who is a Chase employee and she pulled it up on her internal system. It had a note that they had additional offers if you apply in a branch. You get the 100k points, 1st year AF waived, and a $50 grocery credit. So essentially an extra $145 for applying in the branch.
Wow. No brainer if you are eligible for the bonus.
I signed up for 80k offer just last week. Can I get chase to make it 100k?

Is this redeeming for gift cards or cash? Like can I redeem for 1250 worth of Amazon GC?
You can parlay 100K points into $1,250 worth of travel purchases by using the Chase Ultimate Rewards travel portal.
Assuming that you previously set up your online Chase account, you can navigate to the Ultimate Rewards portal from your credit card account page (see attached image).
1. Click on the link shown.
2. The next screen that opens up will show your different UR accounts. Select the credit card account that you wish to use.
3. When the Ultimate Rewards portal comes up, click on the menu icon (three horizontal bars in the upper left corner). Select "Travel".
4. From there, booking your travel is straightforward... similar to most other travel websites.
As to redeeming for gift cards, after clicking the menu icon in step 3, select "Gift Cards". You can choose from a wide assortment of gift cards from the available choices, including Amazon Gift Cards. However, redemption is usually 1 cents per point. Your 100K bonus points would only be worth $1,000, not $1,250.
You also have the option of redeeming the points for cash, either as a statement credit or as a deposit to your financial institution at a penny a point. Again, your 100K bonus points would be worth $1,000.
Looks like that was where I screwed up. Not sure of the exact date but the 50K bonus shows up on my 10/16/2017 statement. So it looks like I tried one month too early.
Hopefully when I try again in a year it will go through. I have a huge spend due in Sep 2022 for an Antarctica cruise.
Had you ever been able to make referral prior to that? Or it's been like that since you first tried to create a referral link? And are you sure the billing zip code of your CSP was correctly entered for the referral link? I used to have a second home as a billing address for some other credit cards and I sometimes messed up myself. The last possibility is your CSP account is miscoded and not reflected as CSP on Chases's end.
Each and every time I've tried the referral link using my account, I've received the same error message.
The zip code was correctly entered. My billing address and shipping addresses are the same. My entire hometown has only one zip code. (I even tried using alternate zip codes for Washington and California, just for the heck of it!)
There is no way that I can ascertain whether my Sapphire account has been miscoded. And I wouldn't trust Chase's customer service people to begin to touch such a task. However, it looks like a duck (appears as a Chase Sapphire Preferred card on my online account). It acts like a duck (I got billed the $95 annual fee on the first of the month after card approval). And it quacks like a duck (I got the 100K bonus points awarded). So, it must be a duck, right?
This is something weird that I am unable to explain. The only thing you can do is to call Chase and address the issue. Your call will be transferred to Website Technology (or a similar name, not really remember) that takes care of website issue such as login issue and password reset. Another way is to try a short cut by asking for a replacement card with a new card number. With the new card number, hopefully the account activities will be started fresh again.

Applied in branch on September 17th and when I asked if there was any way I could use the card before receiving it in the mail, the Associate Vice President in the branch told me I would have to wait until the physical card arrived in the mail and it was activated.
Was pleasantly surprised when I received an e-mail this morning on September 20th, stating that I could use the card through my digital wallet or linking the card to Paypal as checkout.
That's great news. What all txns qualify for PYB? It looks like not all.
Different cards have different categories.... for the CSP and CSR it's currently Dining, grocery stores, home improvement stores, select charities, and funding lyft vaccine rides (CSR also adds annual fee as a category)
The link says Chase hasn't yet clarified if those are all remaining for the additional 3 month extension or not.
My wife is thinking about applying. I already hit my spending threshold after applying a few months ago. What's the most adventageous way of getting her the most benefits? No, I'm not going to read thru 4.5k comments to find it myself...

Anyone successfully sign their business up? If "yes", did you do it online or in a branch?
TIA!
