This popular clamp fan is now available for in store pickup. Seems to be available at some of the zip codes I checked. Just snagged 3 for some future trips.

I would have to respectfully disagree with everything you said, I have both fans, and in my opinion this 4" fan is soo much more than just a novelty item. When you're in tight spaces like under a sink or closet to just needing a personal fan for your stationary bike, the output and versatility is phenomenal for such a little fan, absolutely blows a standard water bottle fan away in regards to power. The battery gives it a nice weight and the clip has a very strong grip, highly recommended for $20, will give you a nice variety combined with your 10" fan.
EVERYTHING? so he doesn't have both?

The fan is slick but at $20 it's not a deal, however if you go over eBay you will see these fans selling for TWICE the MRSP and people are actually paying for them. Maybe because it says "limited edition" on the packaging?

This is a brand new fan that was just added to the Ryobi line. It was just added to the Home Depot website now. Some Home Depots have had them for sale since they were announced a few weeks ago but they have been hard to find in stock. They look like they are extremely versatile and well designed.

Ryobi fans boys have been buying up all the stock.
I believe they did a limited run initially so even with Ryobi folks buying them, it doesn't seem like much stock was ever supplied.

I think you are confusing RPM for CFM there buddy...

2400 CFM and you could build your own DIY prop - plane.
Although I have no means of testing any fan, that info was found on a review site.
As for rpm, I'm seeing 1400 on low, and 2100 on high for the hybrid fan..

This smaller fan does look appealing for certain use cases tho.

Many northern states have not seen any stock (understandably). On the east coast, PA MD DE VA has stock but not NJ NY CT MA. Neither does Chicago or Portland. One store near Seattle has 2, probably a customer return that was bought from elsewhere.

The Northeast from VA to ME is currently getting scorched by a 90+ F heatwave. Newark NJ (97 F) and Queens NYC (95 F) and many other cities broke records today. We could use a few fans.

The 10" fan is noisy, especially at high speed setting. It sounds like a Vornado air circulator (which it basically is).

The "bulkier" fan? Do you mean the P3220 Hybrid which has 2400 cfm, compared to this one with just 180 cfm ?
I wish more of the Ryobi tools were hybrid (can be powered with extension cords) especially the lights. Adds a lot more around-the-house utility.

A couple weeks ago most of my stores had a dozen+ of these. Now 0. Resellers are annoying.

Did you just look at the pictures on the HD website and ramble off the situations of use? LOL

I've been trying to get a couple of these for a whole month. Most of the time after I add it to cart, availability becomes 0 when trying to checkout. Last week I was finally able to place an order for pickup in PA (a 75 mile drive LMAO) and was cancelled. This happened twice with 2 stores not far apart. I called one of the stores about it, right away he says yeah we have 15 of them (what inventory showed). I then explained what's been going on, he put me on a short hold and said no they never had this fan in stock. He sounded a bit puzzled. With both orders, inventory was subtracted by 2 on both BS and their own inventory. WTF is going on with this fan Mad

Edit: just looked again. The two stores I ordered from show 16 and 12 in stock per Brickseek, but on Home Depot it says limited availability. Can anyone tell me what that means?

I have been looking at these things for a while now. This little fan would be perfect for my daughter's wagon/stroller on hot days. If I can just get one in stock so I'm not paying $40+ from a reseller.

I grabbed one of these when the first came out and its a pretty useful little fan. I go hunting with it, small enough to fit in a backpack with battery and not much lower CFM than the larger/bulkier fan.

The P3220, which is a 10 inch fan, DOES NOT HAVE 2400 CFM. Ryobi makes a third model, the P3340, Hybrid 18 in. Air Cannon Drum Fan, which puts out 2400 CFM. The bare tool is $149 which is pricey, plus many of the reviews are disappointed in the air output. The 2400 CFM spec might be "generous".

I have owned 2 of these for a month or two now and I also own the other 2 sizes of ryobi fans. I love these! I usually don't need to use them on high and the batteries last a crazy long time on low! I rarely need to turn it to high. This fan exceeded my expectations. I used them extensively on a long camping trip and for a few projects around the house. I also use it occasionally around the house while I'm on my laptop or hanging out.

I think the price is normal though they are a "special buy " or something which might mean they are a limited run? Either way, if you already own ryobi batteries they are a solid buy for $20.

Cant believe these are still hard to find. Great for the cardio machines at the gym.
