For someone who does want too many cards or do not churn card for the sign-up bonuses, get the Citi Custom for grocery or another category in addition to a 4 or 5% restaurant card, a Chase Flex card, and a 2% card for the rest to maximize your cash back. For travel, get a travel card with the benefits you want with the lowest annual fee.
Do you know of a card with 4 or 5% for restaurant?
The Chase Freedom Flex is 3%.
The US Bank has 5% for "Fast Food" but that probably doesn't cover takeouts from restaurants.

Ah, I forgot about them.
Capital One and I are on the outs.
They were demanding that I re-verify my identity after I changed the email address on my account. I have had that credit card for 10+ years. STUPID.

If you travel much you can get likely-better-than-5% value from some of the travel cards offering 3x or 4x travel points for dining (the chase card you mention is really 3x UR points- and if you're into the chase ecosystem it's not hard to get 4.5-6 cents of travel per dollar spent out of that, or even 2-3x more than that for premium travel options), but if you want pure cash back some options include:
US Bank Altitude Go is 4% for all food AFAIK
Also BoA cash card, if you have plat status, gets you 5.25% on 1 category you pick, restaurants are a category they offer... (and you can have more than 1 card with different categories)- these aren't rotating so you can keep the same category in place if you wish.
I use Amex biz pretty much for everything. First 50k for 2% points and can do 1v1 on mileage for lots of airlines. Since mileage worth like 1.5c per point, it's like 3% back
Seems like a useless card unless you use it for only one of the categories and you don't spend more than $500/month in that category.
EDIT: I can actually see some use for this for someone who doesn't spend too much in those categories but wants to maximize their cash back. Especially if you use mobile payments and don't have to carry the card in your wallet.

I have many cards and I absolutely hate that card I will not apply or even take any type of offer from them

Capital One demanding that I re-verify my identity after I changed the email address on my account was strike #2 from them.
Strike #1 was when they demanded that I verify my identity after I got the Savor card.
They knew it was me because they had the Savor card in my account capitalone.com along with the Quickslver card that I had had for 10+ years.
How STUPID can a company be?
