I had project gotham racing (1 and 2) for the original Xbox with some basic steering wheel (dont remember now maybe madcatz? maybe logitech) but it was non forcefeedback). but that was super "arcade" with just slightly better racing than the controller. I assume these all are light years away from that.
I'm platform agnostic, so dont have a platform or software either yet. Is there an advantage in games/price for either platform? PC,Xbox, PS? Any games to recommend for the moderate tinkerer?
Need serious advice,
I cant drive. I have spent money on many lessons and in my city that is expensive. I dont have access to a car to practice so naturally in between lessons I start to forget and my anxiety and doubt creeps in. I have considered getting a wheel and simulator games so this deal reminded me of that however I am leery of sinking money into it instead of just for more lessons. I saw a few programs mentioned, like City Driver and Asetto something or other. I need help with following the street signs and my turns parking as well.
Any input is appreciated.
Oh well yeah nm on this. New one isn't worth $400 thought this was it

Mostly play wreckfest and Dirt Rally 2.0 (full manual on both) so it gets pretty beat up. So much fun though.
I'm in my 40's and DNGAF. It's fun.

G920 = xbox/PC
G29 = PlayStation and PC
This is the best price I've seen in a since last black Friday, which was about the same price.
You can add a shifter for $60 retail.
