This is decent price for 2018 right?
That said... if you're a teacher get this D*m webcam.
If somehow you don't already know why your laptop webcam stinks.
- This is usb so you can move it up down and all around and control what we see easier...and not up your nose and focused on your ceiling fan.
- this has auto focus so if you hold up a book, have it down on paper as you show math or art lessons we can see it not pixilated junk for a few minutes.
- this has a flip down cover in case you want to quickly be sure to cover video even if you're sure you hit video off.
- Logitech software all you to "zoom" in to crop out area you don't want to show, or other times do wide screen to show the more people or full classroom
No you can't really be replace a real camera and record lessons standing in front of a class with this and without separate mic etc.
This was just emergency classroom cam and mic until found better mic

audio quality blows.
video quality is solid, low light can be a pain though

Mine's on the way. Thanks, OP! I almost bought this camera a couple months ago for $70!
Edit: alternatives aside, it is a good deal for C920s itself, though.

Decent deal but it's not really a C920 because it doesn't have hardware H.264 encoding.
Logitech claims you don't need it anymore, but that's just their excuse for delivering you less functionality at the same price.
Fingers crossed that my circa 2014 C920 with HW H.264 keeps working.
Google pay code worked for me
