I've read the reviews mention this mouse has super loud clicks. Is that true? I prefer mouse with silent clicks, don't want to wake up the whole family in mid night gaming

Greatest all-rounder mouse Logitech ever created.

Been using mine for 3 years now (of course, I swapped a few worn-out pieces over time such as the expanding scroll wheel and double-clicking switches)

And yes, you can modify the mouse weight depending on the battery that you put in. I prefer the removable batteries rather than the built-in ones, considering that you won't be replacing AAs for months.

I'm using a AAA lithium with a AA adapter. Bought this mouse 3 months ago and the battery still shows full. This is a killer deal at this price. Those interested in this, don't listen to that guy.

I'm a moderate user and use it for work about 8 hours a day. I use AA rechargeable and they can last up to 6 months.

I love this mouse. I use it for gaming but also just for regular tasks with my laptop. I've forgotten it every now and then when i go to work and had to use a generic mouse and there is a significant difference in precision when trying to get your cursor to a certain point on the screen. I gladly paid $50 for a replacement a year ago, but this price is a no-brainer.
