ComEd is selling smart thermostats for between $1 and $99!
Google Nest Thermostats for $1
Emerson for $1
ecobee3 Lite thermostat for $49
Emerson Sensi for $49
Honeywell for $49
Nest Learning Thermostat for $99
ecobee Smart Thermostat for $99
I have a friend who lives over there. His house does not have a thermostat. The house has boiler and radiators. For AC, he uses split system for each room. Will they still allow him to order the Google Nest Thermostat for $1? (then ship it to me in another state, where I can actually use in my house)
I have a friend in Florida that could use this.. I was going to buy it and give it to them
I have a Nest on my account and enroll in their savings program. I've bought a few extra over the years and flipped them without issue, but again it might've made a difference that I already have an active Nest.

Ok cool. Yeah I have an active one as well. So I'll try it.
Pain in the butt getting the rebate. It has to be installed by hvac technician. From the time of purchase you got a certain amount of weeks to get it installed and a short amount of time to turn in all the paper work. Good luck
Does anyone know how to OPT OUT from them controlling your tempts heard and seen many stories on people google next terma getting locked when companies want you to conserve electricity

THanks!
Nothing if you already have a nest linked with your account.

I don't know how to opt out of that, if it's possible, but opt out if you get in on this deal.
