This is a mid-end drive (at best) masquerading as a high end drive, plus Samsung always has high prices relative to everyone else. Made sense 6+ years ago when the alternatives weren't much cheaper and they were questionable and/or bad, now alternatives are WAY cheaper and just as good (better when compared to this one).
and no dram makes this a hard sell
