I think mine are F8000's which was the next tv after D8000 I had d8000 then I sold it and moved, then bought F8000 when got to new house, they are still running, all 3 of them. but the Q90 75 inch I set in living room and the Q80 in my bedroom in 70 inch, I really enjoy them. ignore how yellow my room is, my iPhone is a 2015 SE. its terrible photos and its kinda dark. also here's a photo of the F8000 I tossed in garage, got 2 more in the guest bedrooms. its useful when I wanna watch a tutorial or something along those nature, or when gf wants to hangout with me, but bored of me working on stuff. she can watch tv in there.

posted 2 photos, but only visible on computer to me, my iPhone / app doesnt display photos.

I for real buried my d8000 in the backyard.

Until they fix the " OLED have risk of permanent screen burn in" problem I wouldn't have an OLED. I was walking by a TV on display at Target that had perma burn-in. If you watch much regular OTA TV logos for some channels get burnt in. Letterbox bars and pillar box bars get burned in. And once you start noticing you can't not notice it. They do look great though, but not exponentially better than QLED.
I own a LG 65" OLED , I bought 2 years ago, use it as pc monitor and watch tv, and streaming, no problem with burn in , just take care of it and you'bd fine. Great colors and blacks.

Yes QLED is actually worth buying whereas OLED is the most garbage thing ever designed.

All I know guys, I love my Samsung tv's I bought my un65d8000 or f8000's I cannot remember like 7-8 years ago. 1080p led, they still work perfect to today. 3 of them. I put one in my garage and both my room mates rooms. Everything still works, the smart apps are crude but Netflix Hulu etc all work. But I do have a firestick on them for them

I upgraded my bedroom and master with new TVs bedroom q80 (didn't want the q90 box on dresser) 70 inch. And 75 inch q90 in living room. Love them to death.

I've never had a Samsung die, I will always stick w whatever Samsung has out when I decide to upgrade again

What is this share and tell session? Great, should we expect to read about your most recent purchases on toilet paper, body wash, laundry detergent and underwear too? Curious on what your take is on the last tighty-whities, you came across.. Hopefully they'll be a great read as this one was here,, can't wait, see you in those threads!

because for those who want to know a reliable tv brand, Samsung is who I steer them to. vizio is absolute shit, and LG I dont know much about, but id never buy it if Samsung was also on sale. if I atleast help sway 1 person to Samsung, then my post is worth it. saving them $ over the long term.

I just recently upgraded from an older hisense Roku LED to a Visio M-Series QLED. While I will say OLED does look a bit clearer, to me it didn't justify the price difference of almost double what I paid for the QLED and since I mainly play RPG style games or FPS with static menus or HUDS, I'd rather take the slightly less black quality versus risk of burn in, but to each their own. I remember I had a friend all braggy about his 1080 ti playing on a 60hz monitor and confused because my 590 looked better (playing on a 144hz screen). A lot of bells and whistles on the high $$$ televisions don't make any difference if you don't have equipment that actually utilizes it.

Wow, that's a toxic thread.

I bought a Vizio from this deal, and so far it's perfect. It's my first big TV, and I quite like my experience with it. Thanks again OP for recommendation.

I'm a little late to this thread. But was at a Sam's tonight and they had the P65Q9 display model listed at $729.31 with a 3 yr warranty.

Ended up ringing up as $529.31 plus I got another 10% off. So about $508 with tax. Just had the manufacturer 1 year warranty though, which is fine with me. Never had issues with my Vizio's in the past.
