I posted pictures of my actual purchase. I have been meaning to buy this phone at the lowest price possible, but have had bad luck.
I have posted two almost identical posts from different providers because I had to buy the phone; therefore checking the prices often, helped me enormously.

I bought an iPhone 8 Plus last year under the Total Wireless network, after the promo airtime it came with expired,I bough a Tracfone wireless plan that I found on Slickdeals, a year' worth for about $100 And my phone will be unlocked pretty soon 🤗
So the parent company is tracfone wireless!
If you register with any of the 'umbrella' networks as below, the IMEI will hence register all across because it's the same network:
Net10, tracfone, simple mobile, straight talk, total wireless
Which will get rid the hassle of 'selling' the card.

If I pay for a year plan, then use that sim in older phone (for my parents) and use this phone either off-network (aka wifi only) or with RSIM, will this be unlocked after 12 month? Or does the same phone + sim combo needs continuous TracPhone service for a year to be unlocked?
