This seems pretty legit, is this a good long term investment for someone who wants to transition to PC gaming?
You might want something a bit beefier than the 3060 for long term, but it can hold it's own. I still have a 1060 and run most games at 1080p with good FPS and decent quality. You could always upgrade the graphics card later on if prices ever come down.

Yeah it will last 5+ years assuming you dont expect to do 4k or 1440p ultra at like 144hz/fps in every game.
All the hardware is replaceable so you can upgrade later down the line if you want. Its a low-mid range gaming system, but capable. It will absolutely run circles around whatever console you have.
Nvidia is about to saturate the market with 3060s. These cards are subpar gaming GPUs. Do yourself a favor and wait a couple weeks I'm sure these AIBs will get even cheaper.
Look up Moore's law on YouTube if you don't believe me
3060s a subpar card?? Maybe if you are hell bent on 4k/ultra

What's the minimum that can do 4K@120Hz like HDMI 2.1? thanks.

It is subpar compared to a 3080. And the longer you plan to keep the card, the worse it is to buy a low-end card
And a 3080 is subpar compared to 3080ti and 3090. Fantastic logic there.
