I bought two from directtools a month ago and they exceeded my expectations with performance and usefulness. I am buying a couple more and giving one as a gift. I've used it on the peloton, the side of the hot tub, ball park, camping, etc. I've even used it at night to keep the bugs off the screen when watching TV on the patio.

The fan moves decent amount of air at low speed but I find it quite loud for indoor use. Unlike some household fans with large blades, the Ryobi has small blades so it has to spin quite fast to generate the same air volume (large blade low rpm fans are more prone to slowdown or stalling due to backdraft so those are less suited for outdoor use). It sounds like a mini air circulator. I have to turn up TV or PC volume a few notches to compensate. I also have the Arctic Cove misting fan (now sold as the Ryobi) when HD clearanced it for $20 in 2017 and also find it quite noisy for indoor use.

I guess I'm used to the quiet portable brushless fans (18650 or USB powered) I've bought from eBay and Amazon over the years for $5 to $15. Obviously those are less rugged or versatile than the Ryobi, but has good runtime on one or two 18650 and far less bulky.

I just ordered two online free shipping home. Ryobi probably figured they are missing out and need to stock up since scalpers are flipping these for $40 or $50 each. And whoever is paying the scalping prices is the reason they still exist. Let's have common sense and not support people that clear up the shelves to make a buck.

I don't get it why this is a deal, it has showed up here more than 10 times with original price, and it surprised me that folks drove long way chasing to get one.

This was what I bought, it was a much better deal with build-in battery: https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/647080

Ordered 3. One for each kids. Hopefully it would be good for theme park trip next month.
It helps out a lot. A small 2AH should last a whole day. I went overkill the first time and brought a 4AH. All day long it was 4 bars. At the end of the day it was 3/4. Not constant use, but close to it, and pretty much exclusively on high setting.

Yeah, probably not for you. If you have a current tool system check for a cheap battery adapter.

That $100 will get you 2x 4AH batteries, charger, and a free tool, (like the 8 inch fan). You could also choose the chainsaw that's free as your tool and return, or not pick it up to bring the battery deal price down to like $40. You can get that all cheaper buy buying it together and using a coupon for $5 off 50 that triggers $10 off $100 if your total before tax is that high. A bit of legwork saves a lot.

Most know that, but it is never in stock, so the post was to alert users that it was back in stock.

Ryobi days are still going, buy PSK006, buy P2606BTLVNM, return P2606BTLVNM (hedge trimmer), get batteries for half off.

That fan is overpriced and overrated. I got one for about half price at DTO and I still question if it's worth it. My $50 fan from Home Depot moves much, much more air.

So if Ps5 is in stock at msrp, and I see it available, maybe I shouldn't post the deal because it isn't "slick" being full price? I'm sure everyone will agree they don't want to see it posted here.

Get over yourself noob. It's Slick Deals. The PS5 posts don't make it a HOT DEAL. It's just available....and hardly at that.
