I bought two from directtools a month ago and they exceeded my expectations with performance and usefulness. I am buying a couple more and giving one as a gift. I've used it on the peloton, the side of the hot tub, ball park, camping, etc. I've even used it at night to keep the bugs off the screen when watching TV on the patio.

The fan moves decent amount of air at low speed but I find it quite loud for indoor use. Unlike some household fans with large blades, the Ryobi has small blades so it has to spin quite fast to generate the same air volume (large blade low rpm fans are more prone to slowdown or stalling due to backdraft so those are less suited for outdoor use). It sounds like a mini air circulator. I have to turn up TV or PC volume a few notches to compensate. I also have the Arctic Cove misting fan (now sold as the Ryobi) when HD clearanced it for $20 in 2017 and also find it quite noisy for indoor use.

I guess I'm used to the quiet portable brushless fans (18650 or USB powered) I've bought from eBay and Amazon over the years for $5 to $15. Obviously those are less rugged or versatile than the Ryobi, but has good runtime on one or two 18650 and far less bulky.

I just ordered two online free shipping home. Ryobi probably figured they are missing out and need to stock up since scalpers are flipping these for $40 or $50 each. And whoever is paying the scalping prices is the reason they still exist. Let's have common sense and not support people that clear up the shelves to make a buck.

I bought one with a porter cable battery converter since I'm not on ryobi tool batteries. Works well.

Get over yourself noob. It's Slick Deals. The PS5 posts don't make it a HOT DEAL. It's just available....and hardly at that.

I purchased 2 of these last time they were posted and use them mostly every day. Have not had to install my window ACs. I have a ton of 4AH-6AH batteries that make these fan keep spinning for days on end. Also helps keep mosquitoes away.

So that makes it a Hot Deal? No....its regular price
Applause

EXACTLY !! If the OP bothered to look at the name of this site it might be a bit more obvious. "Retail price" /= "Slick Deal" really simple concept

Maybe this site needs a new category
"In stock now" for these kinds of posts

Great little fans. I picked up a couple before Memorial Day and have used them a lot. Great to have outside by the grill in the summer when it's hot and you're standing around an even hotter grill. I look extra ridiculous cutting the grass with one of these strapped around my neck with a bungee cord, but I'm not nearly as uncomfortably hot now.laugh out loud I also have the bigger fan (I guess it's technically the "middle" sized of the Ryobi fans) that can be battery or plug operated and it's great, too.

Just received mine today. Little fan is great but the packaging can kiss my entire A$$. I almost lost a finger.

TU or TD and then look at the count. Even if you think you are 100% right the consensus from your peers is you are wrong. Staff puts these on the FP for various reasons, and one of them is if it's generating revenue from clicks. Item's don't automatically go FP no matter how 'slick' they are.

If you literally can't buy one at the retail price and your only option is to pay a higher price from a scalper, then YES IT'S A SLICK DEAL AT MSRP WHEN IN STOCK. The MSRP is literally just a suggested price the product be sold for. This is basic supply and demand right here and I'm surprised people can get out of 8th grade without knowing it since it's the basis of our economy. There is literally nothing stopping HD from selling this for $25 or $30 due to demand except they don't want to.

I don't understand what is so hard to get here. This has always happened with specific tchotchke's for as long as human's have been around. If you want out of normal society by all means the door is right the frig over there lol. Stop shouting through the window because you don't 'get' 'it'. Just TD and move on, don't be mad you are wrong, just accept it lol.

I'm still watching this fan hoping it comes in stock. I should have picked one up when it showed 32 available for pickup yesterday. I got a long road trip next week and it would have been great for my son in the back.

No. $19.97 is the regular full retail price. If you happen to live near a Direct Tools outlet, they sold them for $15 earlier in the month.

Looks like the "Ryobi Days" event just ended. Do they only do it yearly? I need batteries and a charger also.
