For anyone trying to obtain this vacuum from Plaistow NH location, the store literally told me they had it in stock over the phone and then upon arrival there turned out to none in stock at all
Every Walmart does that. 1 time the employee himself took the deal.
Some folks believe if you call and ask the employee to check if there's some crazy-good deal item in stock, the employee, previously unaware of the deal, will buy it for themselves or put it "in the back" for a friend to come buy later, thus denying you from getting it if you'd just shown up without calling.
(and while this DOES in fact happen, it's unclear if it happens as commonly as some folks think)
I observed it happening myself as I was looking at clearance TV deals at Target and asked the employee to scan to price. He couldn't believe the price of ~$320 for 55" LG Nano85. They did not have the 65 so I walked away but the employee wrapped up the TV for himself and took it to the back.
One time I bought a clearance air compressor. Brick seek said there were 2 in store, but none of the employees or manager could find them. I found them on a clearance pallet in the tire sales room. So sometimes Walmart has a clearance pallet hiding somewhere.
