Rather than falling for the "gaming" and "atmos" marketing, a 2.1 soundbar with a discrete sub should perform much better. There are frequently deals on Vizio 2.1 which are actually cheaper than this.

for that reason, this will behave a lot more like a mono sound, not that great at that either (given build in sub for its small size).
it is never ideal to go with those if you have other options, but if you must, i'd recommend Vizio instead, at least you can use that for monitor raiser

If you don't need a soundbar shape, you'll get MUCH better 2.1 sound out of the cheaper Logitech Z623 set. Better sound in every way. But it's two small speakers and a subwoofer, so it won't fit every setup.
weird enough, Gamestop lists it as Plantronics, but it's a Creative speaker
