Hmm. I'm still pretty sure scissor switches would count as membrane but anyway I don't think this is worth anywhere NEAR $150, you can get a full blown Bluetooth mechanical rgb keyboard with a great battery and oled screen buildt in, maybe even throw in a Bluetooth mouse. For the same price, might I add.
I'm sure you can, but that doesn't sound like something I can easily put into my backpack, pull out and use on my lap in a bus, train, plane, etc. Home use? Sure this is definitely probably not worth the price for you unless you're one to just sit in bed while using it.

I must say the keyboard does the job of making the iPad 90% of the experience of a MacBook.
That being said, I am almost certain that the iPad Pro 11" 3rd gen is fine.
The 11" iPad Pro dimensions are the same between 2nd and 3rd gen. It is the larger iPad Pro that got slightly thicker between 2nd and 3rd, and it's with the 12.9" iPad that reviewers mention the slight incompatibility between the 2020 Magic Keyboard and the iPad Pro 12.9 3rd generation -- not the 11".
I don't have a 3rd gen iPad Pro 11" to test with, so don't take this as the word of dog.
This is for my wife. She loves the keyboard but says the outside gets dirty very easily. Anyone else have this issue?
