I wanted to use these as a mesh set of access points, and still run my OG wired router as DNS and DHCP. Apparently you can't disable the DHCP server, only move its' IP address. There is no web UI, only configuration is by the mobile app.
On the topic of data security, I looked at my firewall log. After I disconnected all devices from using the network on the mesh, I still saw frequent traffic going out to devacs.edatahome.com

I'm sure there will be all sorts of comments about how you can protect yourself against that to get this discount mesh WiFi setup, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
