I learned my lesson. I will not buy Apple gift cards just to get the bonus Target or Best Buy gift cards. There are always better deals out there compared to the Apple store.

Yeah it can close with the education discount and AirPods, but overall deals are better elsewhere.

I did the pro open box excellent and received one that was still locked to an apple ID. Not a big deal just a waste of time.

You are partially right. I personally buy iPhone (no contract) and macbook/iMac with high specs on apple website (can't buy a 32 gb ram mac on BestBuy), for other items you better off buying from BestBuy, amazon etc during regular deals. Also, the gift-cards come in handy for AppleOne subscription.

Yeah, pros and cons. I bought $700 specifically for an iPad Pro or Air, and that's where there are better deals elsewhere.

I just actually got off the phone with Apple support. Had them cancel my store pickup since I didn't need the AirPods and BB was cheaper. I didn't ask. She actually mentioned that the iPad was still eligible for AppleCare at the education discount. Can't confirm that, but that's what I was told.

Depends on what you're buying. Final Cut Pro X ($300 on App Store) had been on my wishlist for close to 2 years. With that $10 Target gift-card deal, I bought three $100 gift-cards, and got three $10 Target gift-cards. I also got a bonus $15 Target gift-card because I had another Target offer where I'd get $15 if I make three $60 or-more Online transactions. So theoretically, before tax, I'm able to get Final Cut Pro for $255 (Final Cut Pro never goes on sale on the App Store).

Same. Came with the original box wrapped in Best Buy tape, but looks brand new. Couldn't find one mark on it or have any idea it wasn't brand new.
