It's been many years since I bought my Sandisk Extreme USB 3.0 SDCZ80 devices (with 200MB/s sequential write and 12MB/s random writes) and I don't know what the current version is called (or even if there are any). Their plastic bodies are cool to the touch but I wonder if the chips inside are running hot.
Performance numbers are for the 64GB capacity
P.S.: If size and price are not a constraint, Sandisk and Samsung both sell so-called Portable SSDs in capacities of 500G and higher
