This combo is a quarterly promo. Was previously "hackable" so you could get tool plus battery for $179 or tool only for $100. It's still a good deal. Don't take it personally. Its just that it was generally already known and is less good than a couple weeks ago.

Home Depot reuses product listings which is annoying. All the reviews on the page are for the battery, not the tool.
