Too bad this deal includes the older fuel grinder model. Would rather have the 2980 (paddle switch) or 2981 (slide switch) versions. The 298x models have beefier motors for faster RPMs (9k vs 8.5k) and have electric brakes. They also allow for larger grinding discs to be used (4.5" - 6") vs this model (4.5" - 5").

Man I don't even have anything to grind but I'm just getting started in the Milwaukee ecosystem and would love to add a battery. All I have now is a 5 and an 8 with weed eater edger and the impact. Damn.

This has gotten me into a lot of trouble...but also helped me cross off several honey do's which has gotten me a lot of praise...so it's definitely hit or miss. Either way I've never had a grinder I wish I didn't have but I HAVE not had a grinder when I wish I had one.
