Many of the LG A9 cord zero vacuums are on sale at Best Buy and Lowe's.
The higher end Jon press or model compares nicely with the Dyson v11 performing similarly or better in most areas.
The linked model contains a dual hard floor/carpet brush similar to v11 and also the "power punch" tool for stairs, furniture, etc. it is down from $699 (not sure why post says $599).
Two batteries yield pretty good battery life (better than v11 if you count both).
In my use it performs better than the v10 absolute in all areas except the power "nozzle" will not pick up large debris easily (think Cheerios) as it just plows through them. No other cons and plenty of pros to make up for it.
10 year warranty on motor!

Carpet, hard floor and mop version of kompressor a9 for $599 down from $799. Open box excellent currently out of stock but has popped up between $425 and $465 since I've been keeping track. Keep checking!

LOWES has the previous a9 ultimate version with shorter battery life and a bit less power but with the "hard floor nozzle" (comparable to Dyson fluffy) The old a9 is more similar to a v10 absolute but costs more and has two batteries, a stand that doesn't need a wall mount. This version is also $450. Sale until 8/26

As to your other point, I bought the $279 v10 absolute bought got unlucky as the plastic lid would bit close properly. They were out of stock so I could not reorder. After 3 days of reading and watching reviews, I decided to try this instead and have been happier having a longer warranty and more battery life and what feel like a better quality machine.
I'm sorry if this vacuum does not interest you. I don't think it's for you to decide those that want it are "doing it wrong".

I think you're referring to perhaps the base model and not the Kompressor. Looks like kompressor was $499 on sale at Costco.
I was trying to be impartial 😉
Also, this is not a deal in any way shape or form. If you need a $500 stick vacuum you are doing it wrong.
When I see posts, it shows the discounted price and original price right below it. The original price was put in incorrectly by a moderator so I tried to make it clear in the title what the actual original price was. I'm sorry this bothered you.

If you have lots of hard floor and don't want to buy a second roller, the v11 torque drive would be better if you're worried about "large debris". Watch a couple review videos to see the gates they have in the head. It may also be worth waiting for the v10 absolute to go on sale again for $280 if you're not in need now.
I think the kompressor is better built (based on plastic feel) and power supplied. I also think the added battery time is handy. I believe the longer warranty (I think) and user replaceable battery is handy and shows that these are meant to last. You do pay more for it though.
This is the what it says.
When I browse the app it shows the actual price right below the title (using iOS). I'd show a picture but I'm not given the option. Maybe it's different for other devices?
Please excuse my ignorance.
Despite your rudeness (you said, "no one cares…") , I added the current price to the title.
Hope you have a better day.
