That's a weak 3060, isn't it?

Yes, one of the weakest. 60W + up to 15W with Dynamic Boost. Similar to a Zephyrus G14. Also, the display has very slow response time and it's only a 45% NTSC display.

Don't buy this, not a very good deal at all. Display is shite, slower than 115w 2060's, with bad overall package.

Is it also slower than a 90-100w 2060? or maybe on par with it..

She tests it with an I7 10750H but the I5 10500H is not that much slower. I agree with the previous posters that this is not the best laptop. However, given todays prices this is not a bad deal. In this price range you are only likely to find 3050, 3050ti, and 1660ti processors.

If you can wait, I would see what Black Friday brings. Last year laptops with these specs where in the $650 to $800 range.

Slower than a 115w 2060, but my guess is it's roughly the same performance @ half the power. That should translate into a much more quiet laptop and/or thinner and lighter as well.

But I agree a 45% NTSC display is a shite display. Probably TN. I don't know how some people can still use those displays, even if it boast a high hertz rate.

But display is garbage, and quality is super low and it's the ugliest laptop in this price range, more then Omen, Evoo, Dell, and legion. bad deal

Is this 3060 better than a 1660ti?

Wow, I love these DECEPTIVE naming tactics. Next, we will be saying, is this 4060, 5060 better than a 1660ti?

Hp is the worst/price value and Alienware laptops are well known for overheating problems worse than msi, as well as costing a whole lot more.

You seem to be new to gaming laptops but seem to be catching on. Unlike desktop GPUs you need to evaluate gaming GPUs on both type and power. If you watched the video, you can see in her charts that the 3060 beat out some 2070s but was below other 2070s, This makes general comparisons difficult.

Personally, I would rather have this RTX 3060 over a GTX 1660ti. The RTX cards have both ray tracing and DLSS, while the GTX cards do not. In addition the RTX brings some other perks like Nvidia broadcast. If you are into streaming, I believe both cards use the same encoder.

In case you didn't know, the reason you see these gaming laptops on sale now is because of Intel's gaming days.

The question is what else is there in this price range? Dell has some gaming laptops on sale but they are in the $1200 - $1300 range.

At current prices the Evoo is $1100 and the HP is close to $1200. That is a $200 to $300 difference. The Evoo to me is overpriced using last gen components. Walmart sold a similar Gateway for $650 on Black Friday, although the processor was not as good.
