"After a few emails back and forth with LG, I've come to the conclusion that this projector does not accurately render 24p motion correctly.
Unfortunately, this means all video content displayed on screen is forced into 3:2 pulldown, resulting in a fixed 60hz image and judder in motion on occasion, particularly with camera pans and other types of moving shots"
If they did not fix that issue via firmware upgrade, this projector is not even worth $400.
Off the wall question: I might have two screens set up (one pull down), is there 1 projector that can serve both with lens shift memory?

I don't get the attraction to having two screens. There are so many cons to it. Check out AVSforum for more details.
Completely dark room, contrast is one of the more important characteristics. Get a budget with an absolute maximum upper limit of $, then get a projector that has contrast that you can live with.
DLP would certainly not be my first choice in a light controlled room. The contrast is just average at best. Watching movies with a lot of dark scenes and you will quickly regret your purchase. On light outdoor scenes even a low contrast projector will look good. It's the dark scenes, which is most movies, is where the better projectors showing through.

I have 5040 but don't use HDR and hence bandwidth in a non issue.
I wanted a projector because I put speakers behind my acoustically transparent screen, that is the only reason. 77" OLED TVs can be had for the price of this projector. If you want 120-150" this projector still makes a lot of sense. I just think in a few years, it won't be so clear.
