No, the attack patterns and speed of enemies is much easier to read than any Dark Souls making it by far the simplest (though there is one potentially frustrating part). Coming off of Sekiro (or even the first Dark Souls), every boss in Demons Souls moves like molasses in comparison.
I feel like people easily forget that when it first released, some SNES games were $70. Thats $70 in early 1990s money. We are soooooo lucky that video games cost wayyyyy less than they did 30 years ago when you factor in inflation.
Saving money can cost you more than you save. Let's say you decide that games aren't worth more than $20 and you refuse to spend more than that, so you wait for them to drop to that price. Sure, you saved money, but you lost time, you might not be at a place or time in life when you can play, years down the road, when it reaches your price point. You also didn't contribute to sales, which results in games not getting sequels (Days Gone). So let's say you liked Days Gone, but didn't contribute so it never gets a sequel, therein costing you future entertainment. Entertainment is worth a lot of money, hence why all humans spends tons of money on it. They're too shortsighted to understand that paying more is an investment to end up with more entertainment down the road.
😂 thought I was on a toxic video game site and not a deal site for a sec.

man if i was in my 20s i would try to get good and beat this game. but being in my 40's, no thx too much frustration and difficulty. rented it for 1 day and gave up. very pretty to look at though
Is that "smoothie" guy new here and trying to boost his comment count or did he develop Demon Souls and wants us to pay full price so he gets his cut? 🤔
No game is worth $70. Sony needs to cool their jets with crazy high pricing a wack PS4 to PS5 pricing…
Xbox is smoking them with their seemless updates to new systems for last Gen games. Xbox one game? Sure it can play on Xbox Series… Usually with better graphics and performance… for FREE. No $70 games either.
Last of us 2 is an exclusive and dropped to 50% off in a matter of months. Oh wait I know why.
Pathetic. You don't deserve to play these games. If you aren't willing to help support their development in making you something that you can purchase to entertain you, then you shouldn't even get to. You're why Sony should follow Nintendo and not put games on sale.
Oh you want a new IP? No, so sorry, you don't get a new IP if you don't cough up at least $70 to help them offset the ENORMOUS financial risk they take in making those new games.

People forget how long Sony has been in the gaming business. Their fanboys are now overgrown man children and some of the worst.
Is this game frustratingly hard like it's predecessors?
I literally quit Dark Souls series in frustration lol
Gotta git gud.
I managed to finish DS1 largely on my own back in the day. My cousin is a FROM fanatic and later convinced me to play 2 and 3, he largely carried me through those. Running through with a summon can make a huge difference.

I will gladly pay more for games when the studios stop abusing/crunching developers. These people deserve better. The studios make plenty of profit.
