Honey offering $50 pop up on this. Brings price down to $400 if you stack with EPP and down to $380 before tax if you also use Discover/Paypal 5%.

Looking at specs it's a VA panel.
It's 2021 and I still have no idea what's the difference between a tv and a monitor.

because of the smart features doesn't this make this more of a TV instead of a monitor? Seems pretty steep for a 43" 4k smart TV.

It is amazing to ditch 2 monitors for work and go with good quality PBP. It seems from amazon review it has PBP. Anyone tried it?

I think you're correct that it does have PIP or PBP. You just stopped me from making a big mistake as I got excited and was about to pull the trigger because the other cash back site is currently offering 10%. I thought PIP or PBP is given for these hybrid TV/Monitors.

This is more a monitor converted into TV than other way round. TV's usually don't have VA panels.

Agree. Want to jump on it, but I do not know how text will come out on dual display.

Also I need this monitor to handle dual PBP displays from same work laptop via USB C hub with dual HDMI.

Underwhelming Office365 features
Perhaps that is why they consider it a monitor..

Usually monitors have a DisplayPort port, but this one doesn't. Does anyone know if this has HDMI 2.1 Confused

If the review is to be trusted:

Inputs: 2 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x USB-C, 3 x USB 2.0
I think you are right. Not worth it as a TV or a monitor. I junked my UN40MU6290s cause they couldn't do 4K @ 10-bit / 4:4:4 / 60Hz. Might as well buy a cheaper 43" VA 4K TV to use as a monitor.

Specs on Samsung site under inputs state DisplayPort "yes". What does "yes" mean in that context if it doesn't have a DP input?

Panel Type: VA

Plus seeing the pictures in the review, the surface looks quite glossy. It might make it hard to read with monitor this size.
