Anyone can explain to me why my tplink x60 costs only 225, this is more than double the price? x60 has better performance too.
From what I can tell (I just ordered the Eero 6 Pro and don't know much about the tplink x60), the Eero 6 Pro is faster (AX4200 vs AX3000), and the Eero Pro line is Tri-Band, which uses a 2nd 5GHz band for the wireless backhaul between units, allowing more bandwidth for your devices on the lower 5GHz band. The Eero also offers HomeKit integration for Apple users.

I ordered both the 2 and 3 pack…unsure of which I need for a 3000 sq foot house. Will return the one I don't use
Depends on what your house is made out of + layout but for standard single family residence with primarily wood frame construction, I believe a good rule of thumb is 1 per 1500 square feet.

Hmm. Been looking at replacing my original Google mesh wifi system with this. I have a wired moca backhaul, so that would open up the 2nd 5ghz band for traffic, correct?

I would go 3 pack. If you don't need the 3rd then just sell it on its own. I'm going with a 2 pack for my one story ~2500 sqft home

I currently have a netgear router in the basement for 5500sq ft home and am tired of weak signals in my garage. I know, it's a bit far from the router. I want to switch to mesh system. What brand is the best out in the market now? Orbi or something else you experts recommend? cost doesn't matter but I want the best and reliable connection. TIA

Will be interesting to hear if a B&M is willing to match the web price and apply a B&M coupon.

Decisions Decisions... I currently have 5 Eero Pros (the older version)... Is this worth the upgrade?
I wouldn't. The Eero 6 line still doesn't have SQM like the 5 line does and still has some bugs to be ironed out post-6x version firmware/OS overhaul. I might consider an upgrade from the cupcake 5s.

I've had these since they launched and I've never had to reboot them. Not one time. Never had a connection issue either. I've had both the Orbi and Velops and this blows them away if you value a stable internet connection.

Orbi 3pk is $399 at costco.com
Is that comparable to the Eero 6 Pro system? Same AX4200 and Wi-Fi 6 but cheaper.

Only the single is in stock nearby. Do you think a single would work better for 1800sq compared to the my current 10 year old netgear?

I pulled the trigger. Going to pick them up this afternoon.

Don't have an old router to trade in for 15% tho
