This has been 200 trade in 200 cash for awhile. Just noticed today its 275 for Pro member tradein, 250 non-pro...Cash 220.
I see a lot of people in my area willing to sell their ps4 pro's on FB for 225-250.
My Gamestop price matches other stores, so this makes for the best deal at the moment to sell my ps4 pro.

They had a huge stock of PS5's today, almost 50 per store, and this was a store in a fairly remote suburb. About 18 people lined up, and they told us that we would all be taken care of, and they would be the $500 disc version.
unfortunately, the problem with Gamestop is that they will force a bundle on you, and its an additional $205 on top of the console, so $705 total. And that's BEFORE taxes, so you are looking at around $760.
They're making you buy a second Dualsense controller, paying the full $60 for a one-year Playstation Plus subscription, and paying for a $75 Gamestop gift card.
As tough as that is to swallow, if you are buying it for kids, you probably would've bought the second controller anyway, and you were probably going to spend money to get them a game for Christmas anyways, so you can use the $75 gift card.
After applying my trade-in credit, and since I signed up as a Power pro member yesterday, they gave me a $5 monthly coupon that I had to use before the month of september was over. After applying all of that, it came out to be about $440.
Still tough to swallow, but I was buying it for my nephew, and my brother said he will help pay for most of those costs.

But if you already know you want a PS5, then there is little to no reason to be holding onto a PS4, so you might as well trade it in.

That overpriced bundle is essentially why I'm not going to do this trade-in. I could wait probably 2 years for them to sell just the console, but that's 2 years of no gaming.
