Other tplink support passive lag tah can do failover in lag minimally.if you need active lag/failedover, get midtier model which more $$ expensive
Assuming this is for switch to switch failedover
my local networks at home, just sharing....
I am using gst724T (https://www.netgear.com/business/.../gs724tv4/) version 3 and 4 for ehem... 8 years and counting , one v4 bought new for $100 after netgear rebate. and v3 bought used for $70 (ebay) . both are fanless. very low power with active lag and vlan with other tweaks (not remember all hehe) for my soho.
v3 replaced V1(power hog, generate heatmuch, and noisy 2x40mm fans) .
having tplink 16ports passive lag model for my Home Theater and mini all in one linux container(s) machine late last year, well 2 times needed to power off/on due to "in no where" dropping packets randomly (can be seen in web-admin). I think, it was $55 from Amazon.
tplink 8/16 entry managed switch is low end realtek chipset. this is why cheap during the promo without rebate
and having zyxle 16 (https://www.zyxel.com/products_se...0
very reliable :-D
if you are using for soho or home lab, get midtier that can do many configurations that depends on your needs.
gs724T(1) is my primary switch and has 3 active lag to other gs724T(2) and zxyel 24 managed switch. t
gst724T(2) has passive lag to tplink entry level managed switch (only support passive lag).
next plan is waiting 5G switch to drop in price that I can replace current lags with a single port or 2 port of lag. just my wish list due 5G switch is $$$ especially managed midtier...

and having zyxle 16 (https://www.zyxel.com/products_se...00-Series/ [zyxel.com]) managed model for $60 AR from newegg in 2017. this is a big brother of realtek chipset and running linux, I can get access to root access through ssh/telnet and can do manually through cmdline or webui, love it. this managed switch is
