Best Buy Stores [Store Locator] is hosting their Next-Gen Console In-Store Event and offering limited quantities of next gen consoles (PlayStation 5/Digital Edition & Xbox Series Consoles) at retail/MSRP price at select Best Buys stores valid only on Thursday, September 23, 2021 (Limited tickets will be handed out and will be required for purchase)

How to get a chance at a next-gen console?
  • Blue Shirts employees at participating stores will begin handing out tickets at 7:30 a.m. local time* that morning. They will ask you which console you wish to buy, and hand out one ticket per purchasing customer in line. If you receive a ticket, you will be guaranteed the opportunity to purchase the console for which you have received a ticket. While in the store, you will also be able to buy games or gaming accessories in addition to your console.
Be sure to use the drop down menu to find a participating store in your state and local location

You don't need bots. Just have to know the pattern. Target gets dropped Fridays.. bestbuy Friday/Thursday.

I got the PS5 through Walmart last month. It's a huge difference from the PS4. Everything loads instantly.

This. I've helped plenty of people get a ps5 or Xbox for retail. It's not hard if you follow the right Twitter accounts, learn the tricks to each site, and just be ready to buy when they become available.


I'll post what I've learned from each retailer tomorrow to help others out.

It's harder to get a GPU at retail then to get a PS5/Series X...I mean Newegg does lotteries and they are overpriced also, today's cheapest lottery was a 3060 ti for 670usd. For a prebuilt that compares to the 500 dollar series X you're looking at spending way over a grand.

I want to mention stampede of people running into the store trying to grab one first or fight who got in line first (early BF were like that until they did by tickets or time/people limit).
I think this is "mostly peaceful" version possible😂 at least if any fights break out they will happen outside the store and should be resolved before guilty party can do damage/enter the store.

Same thing with the people in my area who line up outside liquor stores on weekday mornings to grab all the Blanton's and Eagle Rare.
