So, I would like to know if there really is any health related issue that might come using this model compared to the other plastic coffee makers.
Not wrong. We just got this one and love it. Large enough to produce enough coffee for more than 1 person at a time.

Not sure if you knew this, but a lot of people are using pour over devices as a means to avoid having all of that plastic touching the hot water in our coffee.
Yay, Prime just delivered more coffee, maybe I'll try out mine, never opened it.
I'm not too concerned about it, even the reusable metal filters often have plastic frame. And I rinse and reuse my gatorade bottles. I'm more alarmed with microplastics everywhere.

Yeah, when compared to pour over I can understand. As an Aeropress user trying get this whenever I feel lazy, All the talks about plastic got me worried. And questioning my plastic aeropress choice itself .
Pour over will be too much of work for me. My question about the plastic concern is more directed towards the regular drip machine or Keurig vs this. Is this going to be any different than the plastic in those machines ?

French press seems practical at first but disposing of the coffee is cumbersome and most people would just wash it down the drain which can cause clogging when it mixes with grease in the pipes.
I myself am getting this for work where there's no outlet readily available or permanent space for a traditional drip coffee, had been using a French press until I learned about the clogging possibility so this using filters is ideal to me.
