I have one of these and it makes a terrific cup of coffee. Not a traditional pour-over per se, but definitely better than an automatic drip hands down! These are the same one's sold in Star Bucks and made by the same company, just without the Star Bucks branding.
I wish it wasn't plastic, but of course glass and ceramic would be more $$$.
This is plastic btw

Came across this in my research for simple product that does drip quality coffee that doesn't require 5 minutes of my time pouring water myself. Would have been all over this if they made a ceramic/glass version of this ngl.

If you don't care about plastic though this looks incredible. I mean, virtually all coffee makers in stores nowadays has hot water going through plastic one way or the other. You would have to bend over and back if you absolutely need to stay away from plastic in term of coffee making,

Or alternatively just get a moka pot, which also makes coffee in about 5-10 hands-free minutes while you are working on something else in the morning.

This or a French Press from IKEA? Not a coffee guy - have airbnbs.
French Press because you don't need paper filters! I love nicely equipped airbnbs. Smilie

French press seems practical at first but disposing of the coffee is cumbersome and most people would just wash it down the drain which can cause clogging when it mixes with grease in the pipes.

I myself am getting this for work where there's no outlet readily available or permanent space for a traditional drip coffee, had been using a French press until I learned about the clogging possibility so this using filters is ideal to me.
Great insight thank you. I may put up a sign about that.

go to asian supermarket, buy a vietnamese coffee filter ( pour over stainless) for about the same price 9.99 i believe, make way better coffee, the key is to have the coffee press to hold the coffee down at the bottom while you pour hot water in, and it extract all the coffee due to gravity , you dont waste too much coffee due to the process of holding coffee at the bottom instead of floating coffee ground around absorb water and stay fluffy and doesnt extract all the coffee into your cup

If it were glass or ceramic, breakage is easier and then commentators would complain how expensive it was, and then when their unit cracks or cuts up their hand, the same people would demand and ask why it wasn't made out of more durable non-BPA plastic?

Is it normal for the water to only come out from 3 holes? I have seen videos that comes from more holes, TIA.
