About this deal:
Our research indicates that this offer is $80 lower (~20% savings) than the next best available price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $399.
Great sub for 320. Is a SVS great for $600? Yup. Is a pb1000 great for $450? Yup. If you can swing the additional 130 for a outgoing PB1000, it's easily worth it. If you can't then this is about the best there is for $320
The One at Costco is Klipsch R-12SW which is inferior compared to this
I didn't know this was a thing, so thank you for that.

In for one! Thank you Slick deals alerts and thank you poster!
Been waiting for this price on this guy. Ebay normally has bigger retailers with open box for ~$349 that wont budge off that price. Have heard many mentions of the amp but want to replace my 10" Yamaha from 2004 and this will match the rest of my Klipsch Ref Premiere that I have accumulated (5 channel set up).

Avoid due to their amp issues. Coming from 4 x 115sw that I sold.
Sad but I have to agree. My 12" died after little over 2 yrs of light use so I decided to look into this and there were many who had issues with the amp. I strongly suggest you to stay away. Now I am running svs 2000 pro which rumbles and rocks my house. Fyi Klipsch's warranty only good for 2 yrs.

Did you consider other brands besides SVS? I remember Outlaw, HSU, and PowerSound being contenders back when I was researching. Any thoughts?

Sorry I am not an audiophile but I did some digging and I was actually looking into Monoprice THX series which had some really good reviews then I ran into SVS sale on SD so I decided to pull the trigger. I have heard of the brands you mentioned but they were bit more pricey than Monoprice and SVS.
I think SVS subs, especially the new ones that are app controlled are state of the art! No more sub crawl, or trying to equalize two subwoofers! I have two SB 1000 pros, that rock! Coming from a PB 2000!

Every year that a HSU or SVS sale is posted, though, I wonder "what if..."
