You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Yep, I only got taxed on the difference, way better than paying tax for the actual retail price of the phone itself with T-Mobile. If Best Buy does this offer next year as well, I just may as well upgrade every year without putting up with the iPhone Upgrade Forever program with T-Mobile

Also if you cancel before one month you get prorated refund? - I didn't see any prorated refund as they termed it as a post paid account that you pay monthly (no data plan in this). But the whole plan doesn't start until you activate the account upon receiving the sim.

That issue is persisting for more than a week with no resolution. Best way is to get the $20 postpaid plan with a SSN check and use that. Else going to the store and signing Essentials plan is the only option

I went to the store and it was pretty simple. If you already have an account, you save time by doing it online so that you only need to drop the old phone and pick the new one
