- This has both Ram slots user accessible and you can go up to 64GB.
- No Keyboard Backlit! At least on the one I got (Serial ***1331X) Please update this if different when you get yours
- Wifi card on mine is Realtek RTL8852AE. This is Wifi 6 and BT5.2 so I guess it's not bad, but a lot of people might prefer intel AX200. Also feel a little misleading by WM description! Pease update this when you get yours

- The Type-C port is full spec port supports 10 Gbps Data, Charging the Laptop using PD charger and DisplayPort 1.4 (4K at 120 Hz)
- Without any Hub or Dock, it can support two displays, 4K@60Hz via HDMI and 4K@120Hz or 8K@60Hz via DP 1.4 in Type-C.

The keyboard is probably not backlit

I suppose, with any integrated graphics, the gaming performance is modest @ 1080p. Still, with the ability to go up to 64 GBs RAM and a large-ish out-of-box NVMe, this is a pretty good deal for an affordable all-arounder.
I wonder if we use PayPal to buy stuff, if the credit card companies will honor extended warranties, accidental damage, or price matching.

A quick look at the specs show (differences):

Regardless, I'd buy the 64 GBs of RAM to replace whatever came with it. SD had a deal a few days ago for $210 I think (?). I'd go with the larger NVMe, as that system would have 512 GB NVMe, DP* and additional microSD slot.
*who doesn't like DP?!

We have HP laptops at work that cost almost double the price of their consumer versions, and they are awful. We tend to go them every 2 years due to failing parts, but at least those have 3 year warranties.
With that being said, just imagine how cheap they go with a consumer version, that does not have that same warranty. This might be best just being a used only at home.
But no, I don't know for sure
But this $600 current price is definitely not a bargain. This need to be $400 or less and hopefully it will be by BF? If this gets down to less than $400, I will definitely upgrade mine to this!

Good luck!

Actually i might decide to get one myself just to see if keyboards are backlit....lol...
This was one of the BEST BF laptop deal last year. I bought 6 and everyone i sent one to has been a happy camper, even the ones that got one without the backlit keyboard. The earlier manufactured ones are the one with the backlit keys. This is the color that you want to get the best experience with backlit keys also. You want a darker background key (black or dark blue like this) not silver or white keyboard. We will have to get our hand on one to see if there is one this year.

One of the best laptop deal last BF definitely. I second that!. The specs are right on and includes just about everything you want in a lightweight cheap 15in laptop. The case is actually not cheap plastic but a lightweight metallic alloy
Not comparable at all! that case is completely different and is a completely different class! And i bet that the features on the office depot are completely outclassed by the WM one!
Semi glossy.

Not sure will that happen. Recent Ryzen 7 5700U laptop deals are around $700. Walmart Black Friday ad lists only i3 and i5 HP laptops @ $279 and $379 correspondingly with less storage (256 GB).

At $600, this is just a normal deal... Good specs but nothing that would make me run out to get one to upgrade from my HP 4500u (and 4700u which I also got into that HP deal from last BF)
In terms of internal specs I mean. Is it just the 16 gb ram? I don't need touchscreen so if that's all, I could just stick with the HP and get a 8 gb stick
