I got 3 of these a few months back for the same price. All of them Seagate BarraCuda Computes. Slow as hell when you get close to filling them up since they're SMR.

Awesome. Been waiting for $15/tb.

Anyone know what kind of drive is inside?
edit: looks like they are smr drives. need to see how they will work with unRAID.
not recommended for raid configurations.

Have used a few of these, would not recommend. I've had it freeze on me a couple of times when I was transferring files to it when the drive was about 80-90% full, and I had to disconnect and reconnect it to fix it.

How is this better than the bestbuy 14tb for $180?
It's cheaper and it's Costco... that's probably about it.

Actually Best Buy is $14.29/TB ($200/14TB). Costco is still cheaper per hard drive.

hub ports should only be used for daisy chaining other permanent drives, plugging things into a spinning drive is asking for trouble lol, they would do well to move those sockets to the back where they should be.
I've used mine to plug in mice, SD card adapters, my phone, works like any usb3 hub I've used. What are you implying?

If you are not lazy and read the very first post with wiki, with clear instructions how to get 15% off the listed $200 price
