"Regular use," ie TV/streaming in the evenings won't harm the TV at all.
"Heavy use" can cause some damage if you have static images on the screen all of the time. Think logos in the corners, news tickers and banners, etc. A football Sunday won't harm it, but watching news 24/7 definitely will. This leads to burn in (technically "ghosting" since burn-in is a CRT TV problem)
PC monitor: PCs have static images everywhere: task bar, icons, clock, etc. Unlike a dedicated monitor, there is no standby mode built in. It's still a TV - you have to use the remote to turn it on and off (or button). If you want to use it in this way, you'll have to babysit the TV unlike any monitor you've ever owned.
Finally: a 42" model was supposed to come in 2021, but it's been pushed back to 2022. That means it'll be this price next year around this time, if not cheaper.
Other than that, it's OLED. It's the best picture quality you can buy. The Samsung QN90 is remarkably close, but if watched side-by-side there's no comparison.
Tempted on the 48" as a monitor but the Linus review after long term use (I believe it was CX) has me a bit worried about using it as a computer monitor. As a TV I know there are zero issues, so if that's your use case, it shouldn't be an issue.

I'm the one who posted this and I really like Best Buy's Geek Squad tech support, but it's not included in the price here.
Both include 6 months of HBO/Max streaming.

Don't think about it any further, buy it! I'm using it as a computer monitor for gaming and I love it. It is a total game changer!
Zero.
Amazon is little rigid on this and they don't care about shipping cost.
