I'd choose costco 10 out of 10 over this for easy free returns price match and much better warranty. CPS is a nightmare to deal with.
I called my Costco yesterday and the guy I spoke with said to wait until 11/1 on the CI 77". It's dropping another $100. So you may be able to get a price adjustment.

My 65" Panasonic plasma is till going strong, but it's no comparison to my Sony oled for pic quality. The LG is just as good as the Sony.

Ok ..so your saying the Sony 77 OLED would be better than the Panasonic plasma. Our main TV viewing is sports and movies. I'm very particular with motion blur, drives me bonkers. Gaming is a hobby…not often done, but do have the Xbox one X for 4K movies…

Thanks

why is 83 so much more expensive ($2000+) for only 6 more inches? you can almost get 2 77" for the price of 83"
Quick Answer:
The beginning manufacturing stage are huge screen "SINGLE sheets" that are then measured and cut for the sizes (example: 48/52/65/75/83 etc).
And the 83inch size will produce the most "waste" out of the the single huge sheet, thus losing alot of profit margin.
Simple math example: If the sheet is 150 inches wide. You can get (3) 48inch screens, (2) 75inch screens, but only (1) 83inch screen.

Yes there is more to it and better math examples. But that's the quick non-technical answer from a simple newbie haha.

Anyone know the size of a 77" box? Wondering what kind of car I need to take it home
I have 2018 CRV and ordered from Green ... and whoever shipped would not take it up 5 stairs said I had to pick it up. It was no joy in my CRV, not even close. You can order a pickup and tie it down but doubt it would fit in any suv

I have the Panasonic 65VT60 plasma. The LG OLED blows away that one, both in movies and sports. Put it on and open Netflix's Our Planet, you'd see the huge different.

I previously owned a 65" C1 and I'm about to buy a 77" C1 but I'm really curious about these claims that the Sony image quality "looks better." It's hard to imagine anything looking better. I kind of want to try out the Sony because of the brand reputation. I'm not a huge gamer.

I wonder if anyone has any input to push me over the edge.

Sharpness and pic quality (color accuracy is what people say) is noticeable. Check this video. I ended up ordering Sony A80J 77" from Costco. And i'm a casual gamer but do enjoy movies etc

Zero Tax for me makes it a compelling choice over Costco ..!!?
freaking tax is almost 300 bucks at costco and its priced at 2999

not sure the costco return policy and convenience worth all that much more and it'll be a big hassle delivering it home in one piece..!!

i have a 65" C8 and just love the superior pic quality of OLED over any other tech ... really want to step up to 83" but price is too stupid high..
i dont play much if any video games, so tempted to try the SONY... but at Costco i just cant see a whole lotta discernable pic quality difference between the two ..!!?

Anyone deal with buydig in the past? Are they usually slow to process? Jumped on the 65" deal 2 days ago and it still hasn't gone through. Got confirmation but they haven't taken money and they haven't given any kind of shipping update. Emails and calls are met with generic responses. Of "Your order is currently being processed for billing and verification. Once the order ships an email will be sent to you with the tracking information". Just wondering if this is normal for them.
Thanks

Went through them for the 65" model and it arrived like 4 days early. Total of maybe 10 days to arrive to the house. Good experience. My first time with them too.

For anyone considering this TV- I just bought the 65" about a month ago. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN TAKING OUT OF THE BOX AND HANDLING. It's not just thin, it is legit paper thin and will bow/flex a LOT when moving it to the point it seems it will snap in half. You need two people to move this or you will have a bad time.

Ok. So they wife got a stupid deal at Sam's for me. The Lg OLED BX 65" new in box $800 and a $50 Gift Card. Is it worth me even going to a 77" . With this kinda of deal on the 65". And do you think the BX will also blow away our 8 year old Panny Plasma. I also have the VT

Agreed, I bought the 65 inch at 1800, but it came with a 7 year warranty when we used out Citi Costco CC. Also don't forget about the $100 streaming credit through LG (can be used for google play credit, showtime, Paramount plus and a couple other things).. you can use google play credits towards your YoutubeTV account too.

Nope... you want to keep the box upright too, do not lay an OLED flat. 65 prob wouldn't either.

Just like most of the people in the market I am confused about OLED and QLED.

I have only owned Samsung TV in the past and have zero issues - either in terms of TV quality or using the features in the TV. So I am pretty biased towards Samsung. I tried LG smart TV interface and remote at my friends place and the experience was really bad.

Yesterday I went to Costco to try out QN90 (75) and top of the line LG OLED (77). LG OLED was a clear winner in terms of picture quality.

Samsung TV deliberately showed all the videos which had almost no dark colors while LG TV was playing most of the videos where half of the real estate was dark black.

I don't play video games at all and will be using the TV for watching movies and TV. I won't call my living room as super bright space.

What do you recommend?
